iPhone 7 Rumor: May Feature Flush Camera, Stereo Speakers and Thinner Lightning Port

Japanese site, Mac Otakara claims that the new iPhone 7 models will have a body and length like the iPhone 6, but it will be 1mm thinner, meaning 6.1mm in thickness. The website collaborated reports from KGI Security analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

It added that the iPhone will have a flush camera lens, the headphone jack is likely to be dropped, as heard before, and that the Lightning connector will also be a bit thinner to reduce the width of the phone. Yet, the device may not need a new cable or connector.

It has also been reported that the tech giant will place stereo speakers on the bottom on the phone to help improve quality of sound. One of the former rumors was that the iPhone 7 is waterproof, the materials used in the production and manufacturing of it indicates that it really is. The company will give the iPhone a metal body, so that it can stay drip-proof at least. But, the Japanese site claims that this rumor is false and there are no such plans yet.

One of the major rumors about iPhone 7 Plus was that it will have dual camera lenses to differentiate iPhone 7 Plus from iPhone 7. But, it is being speculated that this feature will not be in iPhone 7 Plus, but in iPhone Pro. It is likely that iPhone 7 Plus is the set that gets renamed to iPhone Pro, according to MyDrivers’s reports.

9T05Mac reported earlier that Apple is considering a revamp of cord-free beats for the iPhone 7, as the phone is rumored to be jack-less. These pair of earphones will help those who are used to the jack, and want to continue to ensure they get the highest quality of music, without having to compromise on sound or experience. The earphones could be charged through the charging case and bought separately. iPhone 7 is said to be unveiled later this year, toward the last quarter.
