Apple iPhone 6S Multiple Issues Reported; Is The New Device A Letdown? Let’s Have A Look.

Apple’s latest smartphone, iPhone 6s, was awaited by users anxiously even before it was unveiled, based on the rumors about the company’s plan to launch the phone. The sales in the first week of the new iPhone broke the last year’s record proving how eagerly users were waiting for the phone. All the remarkable upgrade in specs and additions of some new features are a proof of why users could not wait to lay their hands on the latest generation of iPhone. Unfortunately, some users faced multiple issues on the new device, which really shattered their expectations.

The problems were identified from Apple’s support community page, where many users reported issues which they faced on their new iPhone 6s, whereas some users also tweeted about the same problems. Common issues reported were related to 3D touch, Touch ID, Speakers and Powers. Let’s have a detailed look at what actually were actually the problems which these users faced.

3D touch

3D Touch is one of the new features which Apple has added in the new iPhone. This feature enhances the user interface by giving users some quick and handy shortcuts when they tap and hold the screen. Users reported that some bugs which were in the software stopped them from using this feature. Safari, the web browser, also got stuck when they tried to open a web page through the browser. Both these issues were temporary as restarting the device resolved them.

Touch ID

Touch ID, a feature present in the former generations of iPhone, is also reported to be problematic by users in the latest generation of the smartphone by Apple. The issue detected is that the Touch ID/ Home button heats up too much while using the device, which again can be resolved by resetting the device.

Power

The issue which many users identified was the automatic powering-off; the device basically shuts down even with enough amount of battery backup left on the device. It is not clear yet whether this is an issue with the hardware or software, but Apple says that these can be resolved by “Reset All Settings” option in the settings.

Speakers

Lastly there was an issue detected by some consumers in the speakers. A slight crackling/ distortion is observed coming from the speakers.

All the above mentioned problems are not something which everybody is complaining about but they still come as a warning for those who are planning to switch their devices. Apple has been known for its premium quality, but such issues can really jeopardize its reputation among users. Whereas users should not worry too much as these issues could possibly be related to software and this can be rectified if the company rolls out an updated version of their software.
