Minecraft founder, Markus Persson Expresses Regret

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) had acquired Minecraft from its developer Mojang, about a year ago. Now, the founder of Mojang and the man responsible for the conceptualization and development of one of the most addictive titles in recent times; is remorseful over the sale of his brainchild. In a series of tweets, Markus Persson states the franchise remains close to his heart and that he feels regret over his decision to sell the game.

"Hanging out in Ibiza with a bunch of friends and partying with famous people, able to do whatever I want, and I've never felt more isolated." narrates the first of a series of tweets by Mr. Persson. His comments allude that life is increasingly banal for the game development guru. His comments are all the more perplexing for people to comprehend as he was very well compensated for an activity that he was willingly a part of.

Mr. Persson further laments that when he sold Mojang, he ensured that the employees were taken care of, but "they all hate me now." He recalls the jubilation he had felt when the game was under development and later when it took the gaming world by storm.

This time Mr. Persson expressed his appreciation towards the people that offered to hang out with him and help him come over the blues. However, seemingly he was not in better spirits.
