Concept of Prototype Transparent Display Phone

ZUK presented a working prototype of a smartphone with a transparent display. According to the company, the mobile device is able to perform all the usual tasks: receive and transfer calls to display an image, run a music player and so on. The technology used for the production of such displays can display quite a colorful and high-quality image.

Prototypes similar devices have demonstrated and other large companies. Difficulties with the release of smartphones (similar mobile phones already exist) with transparent screens are connected with the need discreetly fit voluminous set of components, including the battery, as well as to provide a certain degree of light transmission to output a readable image.

By the way, in addition to the prototype, ZUK presented quite real smartphone – it was the first device of startup. Z1 received a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of Full HD, 801 Snapdragon chip with a modem LTE, 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, 13 megapixel camera, fingerprint sensor, USB-C connector and the battery capacity of 4100 mAh.
