Microsoft has direct competition with Apple Inc. and Google Inc.’s smartphones. The latter two companies have over the years built great dominance in the smartphone industry. While Microsoft is superior in the PC industry, but it has been struggling in the mobile market. The reason for the struggle could be because of lack of applications offered or due to no more flagship iterations available for customers. To compete with the likes of iOS and Android, the company will have to be exceptionally great with its Windows 10 Mobile.

The upcoming Microsoft’s Hardware Event will display several devices, but the most highlighted ones are the Window 10 Mobiles for which high expectations have been built up. New rumors leaked say that a new lower-end Lumia 550 smartphone will be available along with the two new phones, according to "Forever Nokia" Latin America Facebook page.

It will also come with internal storage of 32GB along with a biometric authentication feature called Windows Hello Iris recognition, which would replace passwords with fingerprint usage and or facial identification. The device will also include a rear camera with 20 megapixels and a 5-megapixel front shooter.

Lumia 950 XL, the elder brother of Lumia 950, would also join in on the event. The device will have similar specifications of Lumia 950. After the phablet will probably go up against Apple’s recently launched iPhone 6s Plus and Samsung’s Note 5.

The Facebook page leak reveals that the Microsoft will likely launch a budget device. So far it is said that the Lumia 550 will sport a 5-inch display, run on 1GHz processor, and a 5-megapixel camera. It will also have 1GB RAM along with 8GB internal storage.
